The latest title of Type-Moon “魔法使いの夜 (Witch of the holy night)” is decided to ship 30th Sept 2010 finally! The news is making many Type-Moon fans excited because it’s totally earlier than what they expected. And the preface of the game is following (translated by fuangping, either).

In the mansion on the hill, two witches live
It’s a kind of fairly tale in late 1980’s, the time in which new ages are looming.
A rookie witch, a young aristocratic witch and a very ordinary country guy who looks like having nothing to do with such a mystic stuff live together in the mansion. This story is about such a bit weird and interesting life of them.

Seems like exciting!
Actually, it has been almost five years after the very well-known Type-Moon game title “fate/stay night” which even now still has a lot of fans shipped. In this kind of situation, you can imagine very easily that this news is welcomed frantically.

However, with the happy news, some ominous facts are revealed either.
They are following:

・High price! 8,000 yen!
・No age restricted = No sex scene
・No voice
・No option, no alternative = only one story
・15 hours to finish = 1/4 volume of “fate/stay night”

These points shed a chill on enthusiasm of people.
Anyway, however, one thing is for sure. The game must be intriguing. After all, the scenario of the game is written by Nasukinoko, who created some fantastic story. Although whether “witch of the holy night” can be like “fate/stay night” is so questionable, the game without doubt will provide us with something hot.
