鄭大世の涙は私たちに多くのことを思い出させてくれた。
北京時間の６月１６日早朝、２０１０年南アフリカワールドカップのグループG、第一予選の第二試合王者プラジル対アジアの新興北朝鮮の試合が始まるところだった。この二つのチームはワールドカップのピッチでは初めての顔合わせである。試合の結果は２−１で結局ブラジルが勝った。特に驚くことのない結果だ。しかし、何百万人という世界中のサッカーファンを驚かせたのは必ずしも結果ではなく、むしろ北朝鮮の鄭大世選手の涙であった。

試合前、両国の国旗が掲げられる中斉唱された国歌の最中に北朝鮮の鄭大世選手があふれる感動を堪えきれずに目に涙を浮かべていて、歌うことができないでいた。このめったにないシーンは、私たちに多くの、本当に多くのことを考えさせるものである。
鄭大世はワールドカップ７０年史上最も国歌斉唱中に激しく泣き出した選手として記憶されることだろう。この（鄭大世選手の泣き顔）写真はワールドカップの歴史に深く刻み込まれた。
