69 years old Ichiro Mitsuyama, the "Ichiro of Kagoshima"(*1), keep hitting home run! You can't help but thinking this is kind of fake. But actually, it isn't. Unbelievable.

Mr. Mitsuyama, when he was 61 years old, was diagnosed as diabetes. His son recommended him to go to a batting practice center for regaining health. However Mr. Mitsuyama had never played baseball batting, or even had not experienced any sports. At the beginning he was so reluctant to go to the batting center. But once he hit the home run, he got indulged in playing it.

When he started playing, hitting only 40 balls got him so tired. But now, he goes to the batting practice center 3 times in a week and to hit at least 200 balls every time. Besides, watching baseball game in TV, he does practice swings 50 times every day. He says "Batting is best for health care of the seniors." Now he is consulted by a lot of seniors about health care management and sometimes present public speaking in old people's institutions of the region



”鹿児島のイチロー”こと満山一朗さん69歳がバッティングセンターでホームランを量産する動画。フェイクかと思うぐらい凄いっす。

満山氏は６１歳の時糖尿病と診断され、息子さんの薦めによりバッティングセンターに通い始めた。それまでは運動など全くしたことが無く、野球も初めてで、最初はいやいやながら始めたバッティングセンター通いが一度ホームランを打ってから楽しみを覚え、やみつきになったそうだ。

始めた頃は４０球打てばへとへとだったのが、現在は毎週３回バッティングセンターに通い、毎回２００球は軽く打ち、自宅でもテレビの野球中継にあわせて素振りを毎日５０回行っている。「バッティングは高齢者の健康管理に最適」を持論とし、各地の高齢者施設などにも公演や相談などを行いながらこの健康法をご高齢者に積極的に伝えている。
